Acrylic on reclaimed wood, cut and painted by hand. Each strawberry is inspired by slow drives down Canyon Road, sun-burnt terracotta, roadside farm stands, and objects that feel a little ocean-worn and already lived with.
The reclaimed wood is coated in white but left visible enough for the grain, surface, and previous life of the material to stay present beneath the acrylic. Brushwork, color, edges, grain, and coverage will shift from one to the next. Those variations are part of what makes each object worth living with. Well made, a little unruly, and intended to be cared for rather than kept precious.
